Another example…

…of how Democrats work vs. Republicans. Your party takes orders, the other one questions them. The GOP loves Kings and Heirs Apparent. You get told what to think, and what to say, and you take your marching orders and perform your duties.

Here is another good taking apart of Democrats by a former Republican-turned-Democrat. And this from McClatchy, the only paper to get Iraq right from the beginning. The latter a nice bipartisan ripping of those who shred our Constitution.

How is it that the GOP is abandoning the 4th Amendment? Forget about the Democrats for a minute. What would those “strict constructionists” say about the evisceration of the 4th?

You watch: This Court will never allow a 4th Amendment case to get to them, because they know their “strict constructionist” doctrine falls apart under their own standards. It’s even way easier to interpret than the 2nd.

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”

Not too vague. “(Probable cause)” is the only debatable issue, and everyone knows that there was no reasonable cause to read and listen to every correspondence you and I ever had, and that’s what happened. Warrants, schmwarrants. Only a complete idiot thinks this Constitutional oath, you know, the one the President takes, hasn’t been horrifically violated.

And you impeached a guy for lying about a BJ. This country is not in good shape.

How “conservatives” (the law and order party, except when it comes to, well, Republicans) think the overwhelming lawbreaking by the Cheney Administration is OK is just a shame. Even Nixon, a radical leftist by today’s standards (Talk to China??!!! Appeaser!) was finally told “enough” by the GOP.

(We don’t have) your daddy’s GOP, though. Me thinks the current version will be buried in November, or if McCain wins, 2012. Sadly, it will be too late by then. May be already.
