This is a great explanation of why our Great War on Terror is a failure of leadership and imagination. Of course, it’s largely being fought by old people who never saw war of any kind, so I guess it’s to be expected.
When you’re fighting an enemy that belongs to no country, only an ideology, how do you define victory? Is anyone stupid enough to think this particular enemy is going to surrender?
